• Hello,

I’m trying to use the restrict content shortcode ([um_loggedin show_lock=no]) in a content item within a page. The site is using the Avada theme and uses several containers on the page. I’m trying to restrict one particular container to logged in users only. I’ve used Avada’s code block content items to insert the opening and closing shortcodes around the content item in question. You can it here: https://c2-it.com/pics/SafariScreenSnapz013.jpg. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. The content is visible and the closing shortcode is actually displayed on the page. I know this might be more of an Avada question, but since its a popular theme I thought it might be known.

    Thank You,
    Chris

    Hi

You have to insert the shortcode like this:

[um_loggedin]The text you want only loogedin users to see.[/um_loggedin]

    Thanks

Unfortunately it can’t be done that way because the content elements are Avada widgets. There’s no way to insert the shortcodes into the widget block. That’s why I added a specific code block before and after the content items I wanted hidden. But obviously that’s not working.
