How do i edit the homepage

  • I want to put a message on our homepage and I have looked through posts and pages but can not find the home page to edit.
    Any help to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

    You can check what is your homepage here, Log into Your WordPress Admin > Dashboard Main Menu > Settings > Reading > See your homepage under the "Your homepage displays" Option, [https://prntscr.com/rn81od]

    It looks like you have a Page set as your home page, so you should be able to edit that page. Unfortunately, you might have one of those themes that ignores what you put into the page and builds it out of other content. (can’t tell from here)

    Regardless, you might want to fix your theme. It is not setting a background color, and your page is very wide (showing a horizontal scrollbar).
