Filter Jetpack Portfolio shortcode taxonomy via additional $_GET param?

    Hello I use 5 pages where I use the shortcode for presenting the jetpack portfolio items prefiltered by categories (in the Projects shortcode module via Query -> projecttypes). I created another own taxonomy “material” to tag the items with an extra information. Now I want to filter on each page the items via a $_GET param to show only specific items which have the matched “material” taxonomy value.

    Is it possible to change the query from the shortcode module via an additional $_GET param to filter like ” AND material LIKE %getparam%” ?
