• Sorry but in 2020 that you guys request users to use a payed third party plugin to track events in Google analytics when a simple code added in your plugin would solve it is simply not acceptable.

Worth using another plugin due to this

  • Hi @manuxx34,

I’m sorry for any frustration with this!

In order for Google Analytics to work, a site owner has to first set up events tracking in their Google Analytics account — and so unfortunately the process is quite a bit more involved.

In addition to that, though, Google Analytics is really tough for most people to use. Our goal is to remove those kinds of technical barriers for our users. And so we recommend MonsterInsights (our sister plugin) because it leverages that power of Google Analytics and makes it tons easier to use. Or you can completely skip Google Analytics and just use MonsterInsights’ own tracking tools.

In case it helps, here’s a post about deciding whether MonsterInsights is worth using on your site.

I hope these details are helpful, and that you might consider giving our forms another shot down the road!
