    I get the following whenever I click on “Save Changes” in any of the settings:

    Moved Temporarily
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Hi @thomhee

    I hope you’re well today!

    The “Moved Temporarily” message suggests that there’s a temporary redirect happening, most likely on an ajax call during option saving. That wouldn’t usually be related to the plugin itself but rather to some issue “under the hood”, more general to the site.

    The “500 Internal Server Error” also seems to confirm that but it need a bit more “digging” to find out what exactly is happening.

    That said:

    1) Is it happening only with Broken Link Checker or with some other plugins/site settings as well?

    2) Was the plugin working fine before and it started happening just recently or did it start right after you installed Broken Link Checker?

    3) Did you try to perform a full conflict test? If not, that would be a good way to find out if there’s some conflict with another plugin or with a theme. The procedure is quite simple and goes like this:

    – make sure that you have a full backup of the site first, just in case
    – disable all the plugins except Broken Link Checker and switch theme to Twenty Twenty
    – check if the issue is still happening;
    – if it isn’t, enable your original theme back and check again
    – if it’s still fine, start enabling your plugins back one by one, after each one checking if the issue is happening;

    Most likely, it will start again at some point and the last enabled thing (theme or plugin) would be involved in the conflict, so knowing about it would help us a lot to test it further and fine a solution.

    Would you please conduct such test and let me know about results?

    Kind regards,
    Adam
