    Hi there,
We have started using your plugin today and we think it may be interesting to incorporate it into the battery of plugins that we need for our site. But there is something we did not achieve; We had been using AALB and, in order to show the information of our products (as we had been doing) we’ve managed to convert the amazon short codes for the templates of our product titles (productlink) but not for the prices ([amazon_link asins=’XXXXXXXXX’ template=’PriceLink’ … ). We have added the option in the third-party management tab and we don’t get any results either.

Could you tell us if there is something that we are forgetting?

Thank you in advance for yor fast response.
    Kind regards.

    Hi,

I might not be fully understanding your problem with the given information.

Can you post a screenshot of the followings?

    – the template listing page (Dashboard -> Amazon Auto Links -> Templates).
    – the 3rd Party tab (Dashboard -> Amazon Auto Links -> Settings -> 3rd Party).

You want to make sure that the desired templates are activated in the template listing page. Then they will be listed in the template conversion option in the Amazon Associates Link Builder section.

    Hi there!

In short, I had to convert two blocks of AALB code. One to import the Amazon product title (productlink template) and another to import the price (pricelink template). The rest of the product’s information in our page is added by us.

I’ve made everything work with your plugin using the following configuration. In the “3rd party” tab I have assigned your text template to translate the title while I have used the list template for the price. See https://prnt.sc/rnniu6.

I had to modify the list template settings to show only the price and the text template to show only the title. Doing that way resolve my problem (I don’t know if there is a better way).

Your plugin is a very useful tool (right now I will review it with 5 stars) although I miss the ability to add the product from the text editor (tinymce) itself, as the AALB plugin did. It was very useful for publishers to add the price and title of any product only with the ASIN.

Again, thank you very much for your great work. And if you have any suggestions on this last question, we are happy to hear it.

    Kind regards.

Great to hear you sorted it!

I had to modify the list template settings to show only the price and the text template to show only the title. Doing that way resolve my problem (I don’t know if there is a better way).

You should check out the Item Format option under the Output Formats section (Dashboard -> Amazon Auto Links -> Settings -> Default). There you can edit what to display and what to not.

As for displaying products in the post editor, you can just paste the product URL of the Amazon store. Or use the shortcode [amazon_auto_links asin="..."] where ... is your desired product’s ASIN. It has to be done manually though.

By the way, thank you for the nice words on the plugin review!

Thanks @miunosoft for the great plugin. The 3rd party template conversion works great. I needed a template for displaying the price so I added a template ??
