Uploaded pics dont show up as thumbnail or when inserted

recently. when I up load any pics the thumbnail doesn’t show up on the gallery, and when I add the image, there’s no pic just the frame. Have tried to re make and save images in case faulty jpeg, but to no avail.

What do I need to do?
