    Hi,

I’m testing out this great plugin but I have some questions I can’t seem to find an answer for in the documentation, or maybe I’m trying things that are not possible. On my website, I would like to make use of this plugin to only allow submit posts as guest. No login possible. I only want to give the option to submit a post and delete upon request. No editing, or other user related options.

    – is it possible, once a user submitted a post, a summary is sent to the provided email (User Email field)?

    – since all posts will have the same author (admin), it would be nice to replace the author by the User Name field of the post details (LOG POST by ADMIN MARCH 18, 2020) Is this something that can be changed on the plugin side or is this something for the theme side (post page design)? Now you can click on the name and you get to see all posts of that author, but that does not make sense if all post will be published by the same author.

    Thank you in advance!
    Steven

    Glad to help:

    1) “is it possible, once a user submitted a post, a summary is sent to the provided email (User Email field)?”

    Not with the free version.

    2) “since all posts will have the same author (admin), it would be nice to replace the author by the User Name field of the post details (LOG POST by ADMIN MARCH 18, 2020) Is this something that can be changed on the plugin side or is this something for the theme side (post page design)?”

It depends on the theme. The plugin provides an option called “Disable Replace Author” that is disabled by default. If you leave it unchecked then the submitted author name should replace the default “Assigned Author” (if theme supported).

Let me know if I can provide any further infos, glad to help however possible.

    Thanks Jeff, all clear!

I did indeed noticed that my theme supports the option “Disable Replace Author”. That will do the trick.

    Will check the Pro version.

    Cheers,
    Steven
