Mail option on sharing buttons doesn’t work

  • Hi,
    I have in each post the following sharing options: Twitter, Facebook, and mail.
    While the social networks open a page to the relevant sharing option, the mail doesn’t. On a desktop, a new page is opened and in the URL I get: https://paste.pics/8DKP7:

    mailto:[email protected]?subject=Baby%26%238217%3Bs%20First%20Year%20Development&body=Check%20this%20out:%20https://www.cutenmore.com/en/babys-first-year-development/

    On mobile, a mail application is opened but on the “to” field I get this:
    https://paste.pics/8DKO2

    1. Any idea how can I fix that for both desktop and mobile to work properly?

    2. How do I edit all sharing options? if I wish to add Instagram for instance or anything else (in addition to FB Twitter and Mail)?

  • Which plugin are you using to add the social buttons?
    The first step would be to find and read the documentation for the plugin.
    The second step would be to contact the plugin author.

    If you are using a free plugin hosted on the official www.remarpro.com repository, you can ask on the plugin’s support forum.
    If you are using a premium (paid) solution, you need to contact the author directly via their official support channels.
    The volunteers on the www.remarpro.com forums are not equipped to support commercial products.

    Since WordPress doesn’t supply sharing buttons, you must be using a theme or plugin that does. Please ask in that support forum for help with it.
