Download Failed – Network error

  • Submit form – OK

    User Receives the email – OK

    Click the link in the email – OK

    Redirected to Page with 9 sec count down – OK

    Download begins – then in the download bar at the bottom of Google Chrome I get error on the PDF download. Failed – Network error

    I have reset the download link using the cron JOB url
    Direct link to PDF URL works

    Downloading PDF via the plugin does not work
    WordPress 5.3.2
    Also tried with PDF file in custom folder root/downloads/.pdf

    same issue
