how to change select option button name?

Regarding your query, there is no direct way to change the Select Options text. The text is for the variable products. Well, I somehow get your point but I am not using the child theme yet and using the zakra main theme so where do I insert this code in the functions.php file? Like randomly anywhere or at the end ?

It is not recommended to insert code or modify the code from the theme for various reasons. So, please follow the instructions I’ve provided before.

So I need to activate the child theme first and then make changes to it that you have mentioned above?

You can make changes (in the child theme) and test it in your local environment, then later upload it to the live site. Please keep backup of your site just to be safe before doing so.
