Ape vs Updraft Plus – Plugins JS conflict

  • Hello,
    I have an issue having both plugins enabled – Ape and Updraft Plus. PHP 7.3, WP is a current version, both plugins are new versions, 1.16.22 for Updraft and 2.0.10 for Ape. Updraft Plus is showing some JS conflict, so I have a problem with making backups – while Ape is working. When I disable Ape – Updraft plus is working again.
    Could you be so kind and look in your JS/ Jquery settings ? And contact with well known backup plugin Updraft staff in order to set ONE Jquery version? Or could you prepare some “No Conflict” settings?

    Sorry guys, but I dont understand why my post is now green tagged as RESOLVED? Since I use a free vesion cannot write to Ape directly …
    What can i say (and see) from Firefox Console:
    ReferenceError: updraft_credentialtest_nonce is not defined
    (every click)
    IN: updraft-admin-common.min.js [1.111]
    as well as:
    TypeError: d is undefined
    IN: wp-auth-check.min.js:[1:1535]
    – when APE GALLERY is disabled all function well. no JS error then.

    Hi,

    Ape Gallery is a good working plugin.
    But the support is very bad.

    I bought the plugin a year ago and I never received the plugin license.
    It’s funny to see that they refer to the admin panel where you can post your question : https://wpape.net/crm .
    But believe me, posting your question there won’t work…
    They don’t answer or don’t read what your question is.

    I opened several tickets. Sometime they answered with another question. But when I answer that question… silence…

    I also complained on this WordPress forum about it.
    But they don’t give me answers why they never gave me the plugin I bought.

    Anyway. To answer your question:
    The only thing I can suggest is to try out the no conflict mode.
    Go in wordpress to:
    /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wpape_gallery_type&page=wpape-gallery-settings
    (Gallery Ape > Options “Main options”)

    Thank You @atelier64 for your message and for the suggestion. I obviously checked this before, 3 different options in Gallery Settings. It makes no difference regarding the problem in question. But thank you.

    I’m also having this issue and confirmed that none of Gallery Ape’s three JS library options worked to fix it. Is there any more information you need from us to resolve this?

    my problem seems solved. i′ve gone to gallery ape – options – and checked “No conflict mode to avoid JS conflict”
