• I have a couple of items that require the customer to give us the name to be embroidered on logo items. There are a couple of other items that require giving us information specific to the item, but I quit setting things up when I hit this roadblock.

Is there a way to request product specific information (a simple text field?)on the order without having to move away from Simple Shopping Cart to WooCommerce?

I have experience with WooCommerce, so I can move the solution to that, but really didn’t need all the “customer set up overhead” because most of our orders are from individuals that rarely revisit the store.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, please check the following documentation wp-simple-cart-collect-customer-input-in-the-shopping-cart.

Let me know if the above helps you.

    Thank you

If I am understanding correctly how this works it is for the entire cart and if I mark it “Required” it would be required for all orders and not just those that require additional information.

Also being as some products require different types of information this could become quite cumbersome on the Cart page if not product specific.

Thank you for getting back so quickly. I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your reply/suggestion.

    Kind regards
