Two Questions about log in and pop-up windows

Hi,
I’ve 2 questions regarding login of my visitors:

1. Is it possible for my users to login in a popup window, and then redirect to the page they were navigating? (eg.: they are navigating in page1.php, then they click in log-in, a pop-up windows appears to log-in, once logged in they come back to page1.php).

2. Is it possble for my registered users to post directly in the front-end (by-passing the wordpress dashboard). Maybe in the above mentioned pop-up window, once logged-in, would appear the visual editor, one drop-down list to select the category for the post, and one button to send the post.
