Permalinking addresses with google maps

    This is a personal business directory. I have addresses throughout this page and would like to improve it to make the address clickable to open google maps. I can do this by reentering it all and doing away with the connections plugin. Any help is appreciated.

    I recommend the cMap template. Here’s the link:

    Each entry which an address that has been geocoded (address convert to lat/lng) will have a map. The pins on the map when open has a button to “get directions”. when clicked this opens the address in Google Maps.

    Okay. I’ll take the long route. I just contacted WordPress to see about making my phone numbers callable links on connections and they told me wasn’t an option. Then I started creating my own page and making the callable links. Then viewed my site and connections had updated all my phone numbers and made them callable. So I figured I would reach out and see if the same could be done with this. Thanks

    To make phone numbers “clickable” in Connections, please navigate to the Connections Settings admin page and click the Advanced tab. Scroll to the Permalinks section and enable the “Telephone Number” option.
