I’m trying to work through al the red light I get with Yoast.
I use a gallery Plugin to show my pictures, but I get the message that I have no pictures on this page ….
Then i use a add on for social media buttons, these don’t seen to be recognized as external link…

Can I ignore these red lights in Yoast or do I need to change the whole setup of my page ?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

We would expect Yoast to pick-up and scan images added by that plugin. This is a bug. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We apologize for the trouble you are experiencing with our plugin. An issue report is currently open with our development team for this issue.

In the meantime, we suggest signing up for our newsletter as that is where we will announce product changes and updates. You can sign-up for it here https://yoast.com/newsletter/.

In addition, you can ignore the warnings that Yoast is throwing out. As long as you know you have added it, so will Google as Google will be able to scan the source code of your page and use what it finds for ranking.

    Hi,

As a follow-up our developers took a closer look and it turns out we were incorrect. They indicate Meow Gallery is storing the data in a non-html format so our plugin is having a difficult time scanning their blocks.

We can only suggest contacting the plugin’s/theme’s authors and ask them to included the right code in all their blocks for Yoast to scan.?This guide explains more and includes links to the code they need to have:?https://kb.yoast.com/kb/is-the-plugin-compatible-with-xyz-visual-page-builder/.

In the meantime, please know that even though Yoast is showing warnings as long as you know you have added the right content like internal links, images, etc., so will Google. Google will still be able to scan the source code of the page.

    Closed. No further questions/concerns.
