[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Plugin suddenly shows thumbnails in lightbox, not full pics

I installed an e-card plugin that was supposed to work with NextGEN gallery (it didn’t) and when I uninstalled it, it left my galleries only rendering small images in the popups.
How can I re-install NEXTGen but retain my galleries?
