You will need to update any redirects containing your old URLs.

    Hi @johnny5

Do you mean, I need to do that for individual redirects manually? Is there no direct option to update only the domain names in the redirects? I have lots of redirects. I tried this plugin, but it didn’t update the domain.

    Thanks

Yes, there is no bulk update option so you will need to update whatever redirects refer to the old URL.

Thanks for confirming. I am marking this topic as resolved, but might be you can plan about the bulk update in near future.

    Regards.

Just take a backup of your database first. Then export it to CSV (or preferably json). Then delete all of them. Then do a find and replace on thenm in the csv/json text file then import it again. You may lose any hit counts you had in development but I would guess most devs wouldn’t care about dev site hits. So technically mass update is supported you just have to do it in a little more involved way. Still, it only takes about 15 minutes.

    Thanks a lot @weismannweb
    I believe this will work.

Ok cool, take a backup of the db first in case something goes wrong.
