Top Page Slider not appearing anymore?

Hi, I have the same problem! Slider, call-to-action-Button disappeared after installing new version and in a nother case after installing Contact form 7. Help needed!

First you can check if Full screen slider option is selected in the Customize → Header area → Header type section. It looks like you have the Image option currently selected there.

I didn′t Change anything. Before Installation of new vesion of Sydney everything worked.

I am having the same problem with the last two updates – the header image scroller and call to action buttons keep vanishing completely. I have to keep reverting back to version 1.46 to keep the site working correctly.

All of my images and text settings are still showing in the theme settings, but they are completely missing from the live website.

Has anyone found a solution to this yet please?

Same problem here. It all happened by just upgrading to v 1.60 (child theme).
Solved by going to theme settings -> Header area -> Header type.
Check that “Front page header type” is set to “Full screen slider”.

Possibly, this theme option was stored in the DB under a different variable name and was lost due to the upgrade.

Thank you for your response veertualia. One was set to full screen slider the other one was not. I changed both to full screen slider but did not fix the problem. Had to restore from backup again.

As Roman suggested, I will start a new topic now.
