Hey?@jessicasala,
Thanks for writing to us about our plugin! I’m sorry to hear that the plugin isn’t working as expected. I’m happy to help out here. ??
It looks like you have the Credit Card option enabled and configured with the correct credentials so I suspect that the issue with the PayPal buttons not displaying may be due to your Braintree account not having PayPal enabled.
As a first step, could you please log in to your Braintree account and double-check that PayPal is enabled and you have entered you PayPal account credentials there? You can see this information under the Settings > Processing menu.
Thanks,
Tamara
I’m getting the same problem as @jessicasala. I’ve noticed that the problem happens when entering the billing information. When the billing info is updated the CC area will load again. Eventually it reloads with the error message “Currently unavailable. Please try a different payment method.” and there are multiple iterations of it. Each time it tries to reload the CC form it just loads another error message that says “Currently unavailable. Please try a different payment method.”.
You can see for yourself here: https://pragerstore.com/checkout after placing an item in the cart and trying to checkout.
Hi Tamara,
It was connected and presenting this issue. I removed the connection until it could be fixed since it looks VERY unprofessional and was causing confusion for potential clients that wish to use Paypal for their payment.
Hey @jessicasala and @1234mnr
Sorry to hear that this is still occurring on both of your sites.
Can you please let me know if your site is running 2.3.7 of the plugin? Was this working previously, or is this a new installation?
Cheers,
SteveHi Steve,
Yes, we are running Version 2.3.7. This is not a new install. We’ve used for 18-24 months with no issue and the Paypal running fine. There has been no recent updates to themes, wordpress core or other plugins. It just randomly stopped working.
Hey @jessicasala
I’d like to get a better idea of why orders are failing when processing through the latest version and this may require enabling debug logging and troubleshooting on a staging site.
Would you please contact support through our site and make sure to mention this thread and I’ll help investigate directly through email?
Cheers,
SteveSure! I’ve already contacted support via the site the day that I opened this thread, but I will try again.
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
Thanks!
Joey (WooCommerce)Hi Team,
We are too facing the same issue with Woocommerce Integration with Paypal BraintreeWe are using the plugin: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-powered-by-braintree/ and here we are trying to setup the Payment Gateway using the Braintree Payment Method.
Here the Issue is when we use the Sandbox Account we see the Proceed button in the final checkout-page is getting vanished and it says “Currently Unavailable. Please try a different Payment Method”. We have tried every possible combination of adding the Merchant Account ID, Debug Mode On/Off. But out of Luck. Please see the attached screenshot.
We are using a Sandbox Account here so that we can make few test transactions test the entire flow. We have created a Sandbox on Braintree Account and linked the Sandbox as explained here: https://developers.braintreepayments.com/guides/paypal/testing-go-live/php#linked-paypal-testing.
I will like to confirm that this is happening with the Sandbox Account Only so when we are using the Production Keys the PayNow Button Appears fine. We are trying to develop something additionally once a transaction completes so we need to use the sandbox to make tests. This very weird and not able to solve the same.
Hi @souravbanerjee,
Did you reach out directly to our support team at SkyVerge? Your question looks very familiar to one that I replied to this morning, so I just want to make sure we don’t duplicate efforts here!
If it was, that’s great, we can continue corresponding directly to look at this issue further, as we’d need some additional information to begin troubleshooting.
Cheers,
Simon.
Hi Simon,
You are correct, we posted the issue to your skyverge support team. Talking about the issue, I see the Pay Now Button started to appear. We do not want you to duplicate efforts here. I am okay if we continue here.
Now once we see the button appearing here. We tried to make a test Transaction and it shows an Internal Server Error after we complete the Billing Details. We tried 2 times below are screenshots.

https://i.imgur.com/a5FP7sE.pngI will like to confirm this is the page URL where we were facing the issue : https://209.97.183.199/derma-institute/checkout-page/ and we have switched on the Debug Mode as you can see in the screenshots.
I will like to share one more query,
Do we need to enter a Test Amount even if the cart shows the amount that needs to be paid when we switch on the Sandbox of Braintree and we use the gateway? But when we click on the PayNow Button it does take the cart amount only and not the manually entered amount. Please see the below screenshot for your quick reference.https://i.imgur.com/SfqxPdq.png

Hi Team,
Could you check my reply I am facing on this issue?
I will suggest you, take a look at the below point specifically.I will like to share one more query,

I appreciate your response in advance.
Hi @souravbanerjee! Happy to help out here. ??
You don’t need to enter a specific amount to test. You can use your cart amount. The test amount can be used to trigger specific responses — failures, accepted transactions, on-hold transactions. If you don’t need to test a specific response, there’s no need to enter a test amount that’s different from your cart.
That said, if the test amount isn’t being captured, that’s interesting. Can you try testing with 10 or 5 instead of 1 and let us know if that works?
Thanks so much!
Julie ??
SkyVergeThanks Julie,
I tested this and it worked fine with any Test Amount.

Regarding this, I will check these use cases with these responses and I will let you know if I face any challenge.:)
