    Hello,
I have made a mistake but I cannot find where.
If you clear the cache on a browser and go to [my site] and click on, e.g. Purchase Now, then a new window opens with the correct link address, but the original window changes to example.com. (which is really unhelpful as many people use example.com as .. an example).
This only happens when the site is visited for the first time. Subsequent clicks are ok.
I recently moved the site from one hosting company to AWS using WP-All-In-One Migration and it changed the site name to the IP address. I have found and changed many of the direct references to the site name, and I suspect I changed one too many.
This seems to be some sort of redirection issue but I cannot find anything to give me any guidance on what I have donw wrong.

    Hello,
well, thank you for looking so promptly ??
this only happens on the very first visit (or the first time after I clear the cache on a browser). It actually occurs with any link, e.g. the Cross Woven Technoloogy link in the header slider, or the Purchase Now buttons. The new page has the correct link, but the original page goes to example.com. The new page is brought to the foreground though, so the example.com page is behind it, as it were.
I’m at an absolute loss about it and of course the site owner is none too pleased that new customers may be experiencing this.
    Thanks,
    Richard

I put a quick video of this at https://photos.app.goo.gl/gH1nJTnvcKGJoxKo7 which shows what happens. I’m certain it’s a redirect issue. I do not have a redirect plugin as such, but I think there is Yoast or another SEO plugin there. I have disabled that and e.g. JetPack, but to no avail.
