Self-hosted WP blog also appearing on old WP.com site!

    I set up a self-hosted WP site on a new domain with an independent (not-WP.com) hosting service.
    I imported my old site from wordpress.com.
    I post up some verbiage to my old site pointing folks to my new site.
    I’ve over a number of months my new site and the old site was stagnant.
    Fine.

    THEN…

    Today, I looked at my old site and it’s mirroring my new site. I don’t know how this is happening. And I don’t know when this started. I did upgrade the WordPress Import plugin this week—I know, I didn’t need to, maybe I should just uninstall it—but maybe that’s purely coincidence.

    Any ideas?

  • the last article on your .com site is from Oct 21 last year, with your verbiage at the top – however, with lots of older articles below…

    I don’t see any mirroring of your new site…

    Thanks, Michael! I think it was a caching error or something bizarre with my browser. I tried another browser and it worked fine. (Embarrassing!) I suspect part of it is that it’s time for me to upgrade my computer, it’s boggy these days and I get occasional errors.
