adjust center column (post boxes) width .. how ?

    Yet another newbie question:

    Im trying to make the posts boxes larger but i just cant do it. i tried looking around in the forums and online documentation but im simply failing. Maybe its because of my pixelgreen template which seems to be a fixed width template? Anyway, is there a way i can make that center column (post boxes) larger ?
