How do I get rid of a white bar above my header?

  • I copied and pasted the html tag in the code for my website so it could be verified by Pinterest and it would not let me save it because of a syntax issue. I deleted it so it would go back to how it was and saved the changes. Well, now I have a white bar at the top (above the header) of my website with “/> on the very left side. How do I get rid of this? I am using Divi theme, if that helps. By the way, the verification worked. It has been about three days and the white bar is still at the top of my page.

  • if you remember where you added the verification code the first time,
    go back to that section and look for this line:

    <meta name="p:domain_verify" content="367....a24beverify" content="3673....4be"/>" />

    remove the stray charcters at the end of that line: " />

    I thought I deleted that, so I checked the social icon section of code and I did delete it. I also went to the header section of code to see if it was there, but it does not look like it. Any other ideas?

    I took a picture of the code under “header” before doing anything to it and I think I found where the mistake is by deleting the ” />, though now it has changed. The white bar at the top now says document.documentElement.className=’js’;”/>. What does this mean?
