Add ‘Read More’ to short Blog Posts

    Hi, is there a way I can force a Read More button to appear for the shorter posts on our Blog Home Page?

    I am using the Blog Roll on the homepage of our site and it works OK, however, I am trying to work out how to add a Read More to the shorter posts, the longer posts get a Read More button automatically.

    An alternative might to be change the setting which controls at which point the Read More button appears.

    I tried a workaround adding a link to my posts but links are not active in a Blog Roll.

    Any help appreciated.

    Please go to Appearance -> customize -> blog -> Blog Entries and decrease the excerpt length.

    The read more button appears according to the length you have specified.
