Customizing single view in v2

You should still be able to do customizations to the single view using the old locations: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/calendar-template-files/

Our single event page has not changed to the new engine that runs for V2 just yet.

If this is not working for you we might have a bug to solve.

It does work, but I think the documentation is wrong at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/customizing-template-files-2/. This page seems to say legacy file overrides go in a directory in the theme called /tribe/events whereas https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/customizing-template-files/ says the files go in /tribe-events

The latter is correct and works.

Yes, I will make sure we update that.

Since single Events is still on V1 it will look for the folder tribe-events and the V2 on the new Engine it will look for tribe/events.

That was intentional as we are trying to migrate all of our templates to the new system without breaking everyone’s customizations at once.
