In moving from WordPress.com (hosted), to a private host I’ve had to redo my website. I’ve attempted a couple of others but due to time constraints I’ve decided to revert back to Dara. Before leaving my old site, I kept screen shots and notice that the post pages were full width although, I had a sidebar which I don’t care for any more.

I’ve tried various codes suggested in this forum but have not had any success with making my post pages wider. If a ‘Child Theme’ will help can you suggest one or two appropriate for this theme?

Also, I’m not able to have my ‘Post Feature Image’ show on my home page (like I use to). Can you offer a solution for this?

    Thanks

Would you please give us a link to the site with the problem?

    Hello Jeff,

    Here’s the link:
Thanks for the follow-up: Notice that ‘Post’ pages are narrow.
These include those identified as: “places to visit” and two others under ‘Main
    Menu’ i.e. “visitors”.

Content and Layout is pending ‘Post’ width issue. Only ‘Home’ page is live.

Another issue I had was signing into WordPressOrg.
When I would enter my regular email, it would indicate that I had an account. And if I indicated ‘lost password’ I never received a link to update (not even in my Spam Folder). So, I created a Gmail address and was accepted (but not one I check as often).

    Dear Moderator

I’ve decided to take a different route with this theme. Kindly delete my earlier post which includes a website link.

    Thanks.
