Links are not working? Please check this

    The issue is that this is not one problem. There are probably as many different problems as we have users. Of course, the resulting effect is that “it is not working”, and for this plugin, it means the linking doesn’t work.

    The plugin works (it does, many users are happy with it), but it doesn’t work with every single plugins, themes and caching solutions available. That’s impossible.

    Please don’t participate in the threads mentioning that general issue, nobody will be able to help.

    Please open a new thread, with the name of the page builder you are using, the gallery plugin, and in the text, mention also the theme you are using. For example “Link doesn’t work [X-Theme / NextGEN]”. That will make the debugging possible. Thank you ??

    Also, if you really want some help, please install Local (a tool that allows you to create local websites), and re-create the issue. Use the least plugins as possible, and only one image or two. With Local, you can export that website to a file; please share this file somewhere online and a link to it.

  • Hi Jordy, I just made a new topic and added my page builder and theme to the comments. If Ive been having this issue for 2 weeks now. I reached out to support but didn’t hear back.

    Hi, I have the same problem. WP/Gallery Custom Links/Bloggist Clean/Superb Themes. Links to URLs associated with pictures in WP gallery widget no longer operative. Stopped working about 4 days ago when I did an upgrade to WP5.5. Have been told by BlueHost that the probably the plugin is not currently compatible with 5.5.

    Love the plugin, BTW. It’s just not behaving for me.

    Normally, I don’t offer direct support for this plugin, as I am already way too busy. But I really want it to work, and I am also using it myself ?? I would like to share with you a simple install, and to replicate the bug on it.

    I am also having this issue since adding new photos. The custom links aren’t clickable at all. I’d be eager to find out the result of your bug replication. Thank you for the great plugin in any case ??

    The latest plug-in update broke all the links. When I rolled back, it worked fine. i think you need to do some testing. WordPress 5.5.3 running Flatsome Child Theme theme.

    I have the same problem with the latest plug-in update. All my links are broke. @elleirdad ?Can you teach me how to roll back the plugin?

    There is an issue with the version 2.0.0. Please absolutely use the version 2.0.1 or more. Sorry about this, and thank you ??

    I still have the same problem after upgrading to version 2.0.1, the links in the gallery are not active. Everything worked perfectly in version 1.2.7.

    I have the following errors at the bottom of the page :

    El plugin funcionó bien hasta ayer, tras la última actialización 2.0.1, ha dejado de funcionar y no entiendo el problema, utilizo el tema OceanWP en WordPress 5.5.3
    Como digo, funcionaba perfectamente pero ahora no abre ningun enlace en las galerías ni en las imágenes de las páginas , nada no funciona!
    Por favor, una solución gracias!

    Everything was working fine until 2 days ago, now nothing I can do will affect it. I need to roll back or get this fixed.
    I am not good with coding so there is no chance of me working it out myself!

    I have it set to get automatic updates so I too am on 2.0.1. My settings have not changed since it worked.

    Help will be very gratefully received as this plugin has been brilliant up to now.

    Can anyone running into this issue do a bit of debug? I get that many of you have issues, but it’s working on all my installs.

    Are you all using WordPress 5 or more?
    Can you check your PHP Error Logs? What errors do you get?
    Can you play with the settings of the plugin a bit?
    Can you enable the logs in the settings and look at your PHP Error Logs again?

    I would love to help but I need your help.

    I am running the current version of WordPress as I have automatic updates.
    I have played with all the settings I can access.

    He realizado todas las pruebas posibles, he entrado al Seting del plugin y todo está bien funcionando en Html, pero no soluciona
    No es normal, con la última versión de WordPRess funcionaba correctamente en el theme OceanWP actuali9zado, funcionaba todo bien antes de estas dos actualizaciones, anterior a la versión 2.0.0, se ha actualizado a la 2.0.0 y a la 2.0.1 en dos días, no puedo asegurar que en la versión 2.0.0 fallase, pero está claro que en la versión actual 2.0.1 no funciona.
    No se en que themes dices que funciona correctamente, ni se si estas probando con la ultima versión de WordPress.
    Yo utilizo el tema OceanWP, con PHP 7.4 y WordPress versión 5.5.3 y te aseguro que el plugin funcionaba correctamente, ahora ya no funciona. Dependo mucho de este plugin, por favor, hasta que no se resuelva el problema que a tantos nos está afectando, volver a la versión 1.9.9 GRACIAS!

    Tuve el mismo problema, la versión 2.0.1, no esta funcionando bien en compatibilidad con el WP.
    Solución: Deben de regresar a la versión 1.2.7 del plugins, yo lo hice, y todo volvió a la normalidad, esto como solución mientras Meow corrija los detalles. Si necesitan saber como, solo consultar.
