Multiple sites on one instance

    Hi,

    First of all thanks a lot for such a great plugin.

    I’m running multiple WP sites that are separate (both server and content-wise). I was wondering if it’s possible to use your plugin in a way, that all my sites would use one CloudSearch instance?

    Hi Tony!
    I think it’s possible but I’ve never tried before.. Can you have a test?
    In the CS plugin settings page scroll down till Site ID field. By default it take 1 for the root site in a multisite and the site ID for every subsite.. You can ‘hack’ this providing your ‘custom’ ID.. Unique for every of your WP sites.
    This give you the possibility to use the same CS index and save a unique key for your site’s.

    Probably you need to ‘customize’ the search method.. I can give you some examples.. Let me know how are you managing searches..

    PS: index fields have to be the same in order to have the CS sync process working ??
