Beginner badge being tied to excluded roles

    Hello,

    I have myCred installed as well as wpForo (a popular forum), and it’s myCred addon which integrates myCred to the forum.

    The first badge (for the newest members) keeps showing up for the roles that I have excluded through the myCred settings. I’m assuming this is because the excluded roles do not have any points.

    Is there anyway to force a badge manually to a excluded role? I’d like these excluded roles to have the highest badge available if possible.

    Is this possible?

    Hi @chrispnw,
    myCred Badges are dependent on points. If you are excluding the users from achieving any points so it means they are excluded from the system to get any points. So they are unable to achieve any badges.

    Hello,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I just realized that I typed badge when I meant to type RANK.

    The first (Beginner) rank is displaying for excluded excluded roles in both wpForo and BuddyPress.

    How would I go about removing this rank from excluded users?

    Or, is it possible to manually assign a rank to an excluded user?

    Ans: This issue is related to WPForo, you can contact WPForo for this. they have missed some conditional checks in their code.

    Ans: No this is not possible.

    Hello,

    Thank you for getting back to me.

    Can manually assigning ranks be added to a future update?

    It would be nice to assign a banned member a “Banned” rank logo, a Moderator a “Moderator” rank logo and so on.
