• Hello, hopefully I can explain my issue. I have been asked to modify the company website, one I did not build myself and finding I am having an issue locating the area I need to change. On our website on the footer, I need to change one of items titles and open up a PDF file. Currently, the menu item is called Privacy Policy and opens up the privacy policy site page. I have been able to change the name form Privacy Policy to Warranty but of course it still opens the Privacy Policy webpage as I do not see where this changed. I’ve gone into the Ubermenu, enabled all the screen options and still do not see where its linking, the only reference I do see is where its says Original: Privacy Policy, which is un-editable at the bottom of the editing window.

Can anyone direct me on how I may accomplish this change, I’ve gone thru tutorial after tutorial and none of them address editing an existing footer menu item and relinking to another page or even open a PDF file. Thank you.

  • Every theme/plugin is different. Your question would be best asked on the support page of your specific theme.

Ahh thank you, I was thinking that as well but I did make some headway. I simply deleted the footer menu and created a new one as a customizable URL and it works.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.
