How to stop excerpts showing in blog page

Hi. Im using the Newsium Theme. Ive noticed that post excerpts are showing on both the homepage and in the post itself. How do i change it so that the excerpt only appears on the homepage?

Preferably if the excerpt is hidden id rather it not leave behind a big white space where it was.
