Copy Post option is now Missing!

    I use the Copy Post option quite often, but now that feature (previously above “Copy Link” in the … menu) is now missing from the posts section of my website.

    I restarted the browser, used a different browser, restarted my computer, cleared cache and cookies and nothing has helped so far. Has this actually been removed??

  • I’ve never seen that anywhere. Did you have a plugin that added it? Where exactly was it?

    When you are looking at your published posts section, on the far right side of a post is the … Menu. It has always (always) been in the following order:

    – Edit
    – View
    – Stats
    – Comments
    – Share
    – Copy Post
    – Copy Link
    – Trash

    Now the Copy Post option is gone.

    you seem to be referring to something from WordPress.com

    – is your site self-hosted based on WordPress.org or is it a site with WordPress.com?

    It is with wordpress.com

    Due to the differences between the free hosted blogs offered at wordpress.com and the self-hosted and self-installed version of WordPress supported here, you should probably ask WordPress.com Support instead.
