    Hi,

I have created custom fields in custom post type using pods plugin. In that, I have enabled the “Revision” checkbox under Pods->Advanced options->support. still, I did not see the Revision history button in the post type. For post, page and for standard fields like “title”, “Editor” revision is working fine.

Do I need to add any other additional code or have to enable any settings?. Kindly suggest me the solution, it’s creating a big issue.

    Hello @shyamla
Please check your screen settings (top right).
Also, please note that revisions do not work for fields (metadata) or taxonomies.
    Cheers, Jory

    Hi,
    Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, I can see the revisions in screen settings. Under the revision button, I can see only standard fields like “Title”. If I edit any “custom field” and update the changes, at that time, it’s not showing the changes under the revision button.

Correct, as I said, custom fields are not supported for revision history in WordPress. Sorry, but this is a limitation of WordPress itself.
