Create a post and let modify it only to a single user

  • I read the documentation about roles and capabilitites and I would like to accomplish this:

    1) I am admin and create a post
    2) I change the author of this post to user “TEST” with role “Contributor”
    3) The doc says that “Contributor” can “edit_posts”.

    I try to log-in into the dashboard as “TEST” but cannot edit that post.

    Why ? Am i missing something ?

    My goal, however, is to create a post (or more) and assign the ability to modify it to a user. But that user can modify ONLY that post and nothing else (nor create nothing).
