Send mail to get people to subscribe

    Hi,
    We are using Mailpoet recently and we have contacts who are not subscribers to our newsletter yet. We want to send them a email with our first made newsletter and to encourage them to subscribe. If they don’t subscribe we don’t send them newsletters anymore, due to the GDPR rules. I know we can import those contacts in Mailpoet but is it possible to send them a mail with Mailpoet as described before with the possibility for them to subscribe?

  • Create a new temporary list with the potential members. Send them a solicitation with a link to the sign-up page, then delete the temp list.

    Hi Robert,
    Thanks for your advice! That worked. However i think i had to delete the temporary list immediately after sending the mail. Because they subscribed at the temporary list. Can i still adjust that? (move the subscribers to the right list)

    Hi Bas,

    Sure, you can go to the MailPoet > Subscribers page, select all users from the temporary list and use the bulk actions to move them to another list.
