Adding Product with Product Add-Ons to Cart

Hello!

I recently tried out this plugin because I need a way to add products to the cart via a API including custom fields through Woocommerce Product Add-Ons Plugin.

I saw that these fields are included when retrieving items from a cart.
(addons: [])

Is there a possibility to set these fields when adding to cart using your API? I looked through the Documentation but couldn’t find any reference.
