Mailchimps won’t sync after 3 days

– What plugin version are you using?
– What version of PHP are you using?
– Are there any log errors in the plugin’s logs tab for the most recent day (when it’s set to standard or debug)?
– If you’re using the current version of the plugin, it utilizes a queue powered by Action Scheduler. It depends on WP_CRON to be activated with your hosting provider. Can you confirm it’s enabled?
– If you’re using a host that makes use of CPU throttling, can you check to see if you’ve hit your limit after initiating the sync?
– Do you have any caching plugins or services running?
– If you’ve uninstalled/reinstalled, can you verify that the store had first been removed from the Connected site’s area in Mailchimp before reinstalling?
– If you have a large number of plugins being used, you may need to bump up your memory limit on your server (1GB for example) to accommodate the initial sync.

Recent log contains this kind of error messages. I see there’s activity with the plugin syncing, but it’s been a week and it’s too slow.

Not sure about the “Action Scheduler” and “WP_CRON” on my hosting. Where can I see this?
I installed the “WP Crontrol” plugin and I see a lot of cron tasks so I would say it’s OK.

CPU throttling
The “CPU resource usage” option is not in my cPanel so I wouldn’t know that. Maybe there’s another way?
I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin. Started to sync. Coupons are done,

CACHING
Wp Super Cache is enabled.

Memory limit is already at 1GB

UPDATE:
Sumo Discounts 4.8 is installed.
Deactivating the plugin makes the sync work perfectly.
I really want to keep both plugins. Do you know what could be a solution?

Since I see something that is worth looking into first, let’s focus in on the “sumo discounts” plugin, and find out what exactly you mean by “deactivating the plugin makes the sync work perfectly”… can you please be a little more specific on what’s working or not working? Any error logs that are showing what the problem is other than what you mentioned above with the product submit errors?

Have you gone into your Woo Fatal Logs yet? Can we see the most recent failures to troubleshoot?

If I start the initial sync with “Sumo Discount” plugin activated. The coupons get synced OK, but when it start to sync clients, it’s REALLY slow. I let it run for 3 days and I would not have done quarter of the list.

If I deactivate the “Sumo Discount” plugin and restart the initial sync, everything runs smoothly as it is supposed to.

@laurenceboulanger hey thanks a bunch for these details. Unfortunately the bad news for this support thread is that we can’t control that in our plugin. Even if we tried to fail out gracefully somehow, it would still fail.

I’m going to suggest that you reach out to the other plugin developer for this sumo coupon service, and let them know about the problem. They’ll need to apply a patch to this one.

The error message is very clear as to what needs to be fixed, down to the actual line in the file, and should prove to be a perfect guide for them to fix.
