Suggestions about IDE’s

  • I’m considering using an IDE for developing my themes, plugins, etc.

    I’ve downloaded and installed NetBeans and Eclipse and am getting acquainted with them.

    I’d be interested in suggestions on using either of these – or other IDEs. I started with both of these because they were free, and one of my books on WordPress mentioned them – among others.

    I think it comes down to preference and what exactly you are needing at the time. I’ve played around with a bunch of different ones and but in the end, I always end up back with PHP storm and Atom.
