Read More tag is not working

  • Hi All,

    The topic has already been addressed here but no solution was given. I’m using the Avventura Lite theme. The read more tag in not working in posts. The post is shortened, but the link is not displayed, at least not in standard posts. It works in the aside format though …

    Anybody have an idea? Really appreciate the help.

    unfortunately i’m not able to reproduce the same issue

    Could you please export few articles going to tools > export > posts and send me the final xml file?

    I think I’ve found the issue. When I first tried out the theme, I deactivated the read more tag in the customizer because it showed up on every post and almost every post format.

    I’ve enabled the read more tag via the customizer again. Sorry, my fault.;-)

    I guess the Avventura lite theme does not allow to set the read more tag only for specific posts? Either it is enabled and displayed on every post or it’s disabled and cannot be set within an individual post, correct?
