    Hi –

Do the images display in the same warped style when you view the site in a different browser? and what about a different internet connection?

It’d be great to provide a screen shot so that we can compare that to our own screens. That can be linked here with a third party like droplr.

When looking at the linked page, I do not see any weird images. There’s an image at the top of that page. Then, there are broken image icons following. Typically that indicates that the images were removed from the back end of the site.

@lizkarkoski the images come up like that no matter what internet connection I use and what browser I use

The ages have not been removed from the back end and the images are on random in the gallery and it happens to different images watch time

I have spoken to my host provider about this and they told me to contact you as they can’t work out when it happening

We have disabled all plugins to see if that was affecting it and we have also uninstalled and reinstalled jetpack too but nothing seems to work

This also does not happen with this page but any portfolio page after the latest update

What happen to portfolio pages on my site

Thanks for that screen shot. Now I understand what you are seeing on the site.

There’s some sort of plugin enabled on the site still because I can’t right click for inspection and closer evaluation of the theme that’s in use.

Try using a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Twenty as a next step in trouble shooting.

@lizkarkoski I am trying one more this, I am deleating the images from the latest portfolio and reuploading them to see if that works

Does it work properly under the Twenty Twenty theme with all plugins except Jetpack deactivated?

@macmanx I tried that and no

    Hi there,

It looks like this is happening to the image served from our CDN when it is being resized. In https://beitmenotyou.com/portfolio/josh/, for example, the top-center image loads fine at https://i2.wp.com/beitmenotyou.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/josh_5703200804_o.jpg, but it gets messed up the moment the size parameters are added as in https://i2.wp.com/beitmenotyou.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/josh_5703200804_o.jpg?w=628&h=942&ssl=1

The Jetpack debugger shows me a Jetpack connection error for your site at https://jetpack.com/support/debug/?url=https://beitmenotyou.com/

As the CDN relies on this connection to work properly, we need to rule this out as a cause (most Jetpack features on your site also won’t work while this error persists, so it’s something we need to fix in any case).

Please make sure that XML-RPC is turned on for your site, and that your hosting provider is not blocking access to it. If your host assures you XML-RPC is fine, try disconnecting and connecting Jetpack again.

If that doesn’t help, try deleting Jetpack completely and reinstalling.

Ok thanks I’ll do that when I get back from work @kokkieh

    (@beitmenotyou)

@kokkieh sorry for the late reply had work and needed to talk to the runners of my domain

after speaking to them we found the xmlrpx was being blocked they fixed that but the issue still persisted so we cleared the cache but the issue still persisted

then I did the next suggestion and uninstalled and re-installed the plugin and the issue is still happening

    what should I do next

Thanks for doing that. I now see a good connection on our end.

We will likely need the CDN to re-index the image. To do that, edit one of the posts and replace one of the faulty images with a new copy from your computer, but make sure the replacement has a different filename to the one that’s currently in your media library.

If that fixes the gallery thumbnail, then we know that’s what has to be done to the other affected images.

If not, we can continue troubleshooting what’s causing this.

@kokkieh I had this though about replacing images with a different name already and I have tried it

Strangely it it worked for 12 hours then after that they started working again

To be clear, is the issue now resolved?
