• Hi,

The plugin doesn’t save my settings for the XML sitemap part (I unchecked posts and pages, saved, and it didn’t uncheck).
Moreover, the sitemap doesn’t update itself, is it normal? My image sitemap dates from some months ago.

    Best regards,

    Clara.

Posts and Pages are included by default. This was designed to help Users who mistakenly do not check anything.

Sitemap does update itself if you make any changes to content. If there is no content change then Sitemap update is not required.

    Hi,

We only need images sitemap, that’s why we want to uncheck posts and pages, how do I do this ?

About the update, our website changes a lot day by day, and the sitemap didn’t update for months. I think there’s a problem. Would you like to have credentials to have a look by yourself ?

The plugin now creates Web and Image Sitemap. This helps users having one plugin to all Sitemap tasks.

You can select these options and create Sitemap. Once Sitemap creation is complete. It will get updated automatically

As per WordPress Forum rule credential sharing is not allowed. Please refrain from those requests.

As I told you, I unchecked posts and pages in order to juste have images in the sitemap, but when I save my settings, nothing is saved and posts and pages remained checked (although I unchecked them).

About the update of the sitemap which doesn’t work, what should I do ?

Images are attached to Post and Pages or other Custom post types. So Image Sitemap will include post and pages else how will Google know which image belong to which post or page.

Post and Pages are checked by default to help Users who are not that tech sound. Can you paste link to your Sitemap?

About Auto Update I will check and let you know

    Hi!

    I got it, thanks ??

I checked the auto update, and it seems to work fine now, that’s a good news!

I noticed that you changed the name of the sitemap URL (it was sitemap-image-1.xml, and it’s now sitemap-index.xml), could you notice us with a big warning when you do this please ? Because it’s easy to forget to change the URL in the robot.txt file if we are not aware of this change.
Moreover, we noticed that the old sitemap is still active because it’s still showing up in Google Search Console, and it hasn’t been update for a long time.

Here is the URL of the new sitemap (which works): https://www.nutriting.com/sitemap-index.xml

And the old one (which has now a blank page): https://www.nutriting.com/sitemap-image-1.xml

You can add new Sitemap link to Google Search Console. That would help
