Override unsubscribe.php

I’m wondering if there is a way to override the actions that unsubscribe.php does.

I see that after displaying the messages for 10 seconds, it refreshes to the homepage of the site. We want to redirect to a custom URL in the site, and maybe display the unsubscribe message for longer. While I know I can edit the file directly, that change won’t survive a plugin update.

Is there any way to override this using a custom function to get my desired action?
