    Hi,

we recently got this error: Table wp_5_omgf_fonts does not exist and is necessary for OMGF to function properly. Try manually de-activating and activating the plugin via the WordPress plugins screen.

We did as suggested. After that, we went further and deleted the plugin in order to then reinstall.

But to no avail so far.

    Can you help?

    Best

    Hi Voxr,

You’re using Multisite, judging from the table name. Did you deactivate on the site’s level? Or on network level?

Have you tried this after the last release? Made some changes in the DB update scripts and triggers.

    Hi Daan,

thank you for bearing us in mind and updating us too!

Meanwhile we’ve tried barring Google fonts from the site all together and so far we haven’t experienced any problems, so we’ll probably stick with this solution for now.
But it’s good to be able to have another go at OMGF should we be in need for GF again.
    Best,

    Tim

I have had similar issue with a WordPress Multi-site installation. De-activating or re-installing the plugin did not help. So, I have used the following approach.

Connected to the database via PHPmyAdmin
Checked working database table from 1st site in Network of Sites
    The name was wp_omgf_fonts
    Duplicated this table as wp_5_omgf_fonts
There was another table with the name like wp_omgf_fonts_subsets
    Duplicated that table as wp_5_omgf_fonts_subsets.

In my case, both of the tables were empty, but the plugin started to function as expected after this change.
