What is happening?

This morning I woke up to an empty INBOX and only two email your the plugin which is current and nothing has been changed on my part.
The two emails read
“Hi Admin,
Cron URL has been triggered successfully on 2020-01-26 06:04:17 for the email ‘New Post Published – Email Subscribers: Test email to’. And it sent email to 214 recipient(s).”
and
“Hi Admin,
Cron URL has been triggered successfully on 2020-01-26 06:12:03 for the email ‘New Post Published – Campaign Sent!’. And it sent email to 214 recipient(s).”
Needless to say, I have not published any new posts or sent any new emails. So I went into the ADMIN of our website and clicked on ALL POSTS. There were all my emails that were in my INBOX and all are marked “PENDING”. Clicking on a PENDING post, reveals no text whatsoever. Are the emails lost?
Why is this plug in sending out posts that are have not been created from me. I am not happy that 214 subscribers got the same inconvenient email. I need to get this issue fixed and all the PENDING emails that are in ALL POSTS back in my INBOX. I have unchecked the “Allow Cron to run” Box to prevent this from happening again, hopefully.
