Auto TablePress Daily Import – set time

    Hi Tobias,

    Thank you for developing this awesome plugin, btw!

    Am I able to set the time of the day to import daily? For example, our database data is usually updated at 6am. I would like to import the data to TablePress at 7am. Is it doable? Thank you!

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Unfortunately, I’ll have to disappoint you here, that’s not directly possible due to how the WordPress Cron System works.

    Having said that, you might be able to get close to that 7am time, by replacing the WordPress Cron System with a real system cron job. How that is done (and whether it’s possible on your site) depends on the webhost company. This guide might help maybe: https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/wordpress/real-cron-job/
