• I’m having an issue where every single visit is being detected as bots or malicious. (Yes about 75% are bots, I don’t know why!). What lead me to this plugin was that the site forms were being spammed constantly and invisible captcha did not seem to slow it down.

The issue is that legitimate visitors/IPs are coming through and being blocked.
I see this: IP subnet blocked Multiple suspicious requests
When clicking on details it states a software warning – /wp-content/plugins/change-wp-admin-login/change-wp-admin-login.php – this is another plugin to change the Admin login. I can’t see anything else that could be wrong with the request in the dialogue presented?

I have now enabled Ajax – will see how that goes.
I disabled the Traffic Inspector – no difference at all (now re-enabled).
I have added URI’s to the whitelist in Antispam – no difference at all.

Thanks if you can help with suggestions.

I do not recommend using WP Cerber along with another plugin that changes the login page URL and handles user logins. It can lead to a plugin conflict that causes an issue like you have.

Thanks for the reply Gioni. I thought WPCerber worked well with wordFence?

How’s it going? I’ve not tested WP Cerber along with Wordfence. You should understand that WP Cerber is an evolving beast. Today it can work along with another security plugin without issues or false positives but nobody can guarantee that such combination will work smoothly tomorrow.

If you disable Traffic Inspector, you disable about 50% of your fortifications. https://wpcerber.com/traffic-inspector-in-a-nutshell/
