I been working on my page guide 2 days and suddenly it dissapeared ?

  • Hi all.
    So i been working on my page for quite long time, it was really time-consuming.
    It was few days ago, yesterday i wanted to check my site online on my phone but i got 404 error page not found, i was like ok thats weird maybe i changed some link.
    I checked on my wordpress to add something up on that page and suddenly its gone, completely gone no sign of it existing, the media pictures have disappeared as well. Basically like i never did such page.
    Is there some way to recover it? What happened with it where did it go.
    Is there way to get it back from the cache in browser ? can I load the page on browser somehow so i could at least copy the text, it was really valuable i mean i spend a lot of time on it…

    Pages don’t disappear like that, without intervention. Ask your host if they needed to do a restore from backup, as that would cause stuff newer than the backup to disappear.

    I will ask them.
    To add i remember exactly yesterday i changed my nameserver on domain to go from my hoster to cloudflare (I used to be with siteground, i transfered to eukhost it was all good and yesterday i just changed nameserver to my old cloudflare) Maybe this is the reason ?

    could be. Did you make the changes before or after you moved to the new host?

    After, i moved to new host, was working on my page. It worked all good. I know i changed cloudflare name server yesterday, but not sure if the page was off 2 days ago or was it after i changed.

    Is cloudflare pointing to the old host or the new one?

    Ok its fixed, my page is back ! It was cloudflare that i didnt update the ip record there
