    Hello,

I was testing FooGallery to see if it would work for my site. I built a large gallery of instagram photos. It looked ok on the webpage but when I view it on my iphone7 none of the gallery images show.

Could you tell me how to fix this?

    THanks. Martha

  • Hi @mymjf,

I’m 99% sure that your caching settings are the cause here. When I visit your site in a desktop browser it is currently broken.

Would you please go into your WP Rocket settings and disabled the javascript and CSS minification / concatenation options, then clear your cache and test your site in an incognito browser.

Once you’ve confirmed that’s working you can carefully turn on each additional setting one by one until you find the setting that is breaking your output. Please clear your WP Rocket cache and test in an incognito browser after each change.

Let me know how you get on and if this helps you resolve the issue.

    Thanks in advance,

    Phill

    Hello Phil,

Thanks for replying. I’ve done the standard testing with CSS/JS and reached out to the WPRocket support. It seems that WPRocket configured CDN is what is affecting the gallery. WHat I can’t figure out is why. I’ve used WPRocket for a while on this site with images via CDN and it works fine. It even works good with the Gutenberg gallery but that doesn’t have any control on image size, effects and lazyload etc.

So I’m kinda stuck because the FooGallery doesnt’ seem to play nice with the WProcket CDN config. Have you any suggestions to try?

    Thanks. Martha

    Hi Martha,

I’ve just tested on my phone and I can see the instagram images in the gallery just fine but when I try to click on at thumbnail to see the full size image on mobile it’s not loading for me.

Is that what you’re seeing? Or are you not seeing any of the instagram thumbnails at all?
