    Hi there,
    after i have updated to the newest Version of Yoast the Media Libary is not showing anymore, the page is totally empty when i want to open it (upload is still working without problems), Images using in Posts etc. is still working withour Problem, but as soon i go to the Libary nothing shows up besides the “Upload” Button (wich works btw).

    Maybe you should check on that? I have used a Rollback down to Version 12.7.1 and after it the Media Libary works fine again…

    I thinkg this is a major Bug which shold be investigated quickly.

    And yes Yoast was te only thing i have uodated before all other plug ins and WP and PHP are on the newest version and the Libary works fine until i install 12.8 of Yoast.

    The Newest Version of Yoast (12.8.1) is not fixing this issue, so i still using Version 12.7.1 as this is the last version which works without Problems for me.

    We weren’t able to replicate the issue you are experiencing with the media library not showing when using the current version of Yoast SEO, so this may be caused by another plugin causing a conflict.

    First, can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.3.2? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/

    The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.%fillarea:name=Premium may solve issue template:width=30:height=5%

    Hi @devnihil well if i deaktivate all plug ins on a big LIVE page i get other problems then a not running media libary, so i use my test enviroment which is a 100% copy of the live page… But anyhow, as said ALL is on the newest Version (WP 5.3.2 all Plug Ins as well besides yoast in the moment) i found out that yoast causes the problem BECAUSE OF DEACTIVATIING ALL Plug Ins and as soon i have deactivated Yoast all works perfect that is why i downgrade back to 12.7.1 and then all was fine working, as soon i go up to 12.8 or 12.8.1 broken again.

    Health Ckeck is not showing any problems (all good), i know what i do ?? But yoast is the problem i don’t know how and why but as said as soon it is deactivated and/or downgraded all is perfect again.

    @leogc

    Hi, we released a new version of Yoast v12.9. We ask that you please update to that version and see if the issue resolves.

    If not, based on the information you provided, we expect this to be a bug. We’re actively using the bug tracking on our GitHub repository so your best next step would be to create a new issue for our developers at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new. You will need an account to create a new issue. If this is your first bug report, please check out: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-write-a-good-bug-report/.

    @pcosta88 unfortunately this is not helping the new version 12.9.1 is still “buggy” for me the MEdia Libary is not showing up again and the Adminmenu is not “plopping out”, if i pass the manu point i.E. Meida, normally there are 2 next steps but they are not showing as well, after i have rolled back to 12.7.1 all works fine again.

    Basically i was thinking that this WP Forum is the SUpport Forum and not another Website like GitHub, basically i don’t like to register for another website and another website and another website….

    So i just wait and wee waht the newest versions bring… maybe some help will be there in futur, but i’m not very happy in the moment.

    In this case, we’ll mark the issue as resolved for now. Once the next version is released, please let us know whether the issue remains for you by simply letting us know here instead of creating a new topic and we’d be happy to look into this further.
